An Arizona judge Monday sentenced Jodi Arias to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the 2008 killing of her on-again-off-again boyfriend. The judge had the option of sentencing Arias, 34, to 25 years, but said a life sentence “is appropriate.” A jury failed to decide last month on whether to sentence her to death or life in prison over Travis Alexander’s shooting and stabbing death.
