The newest chapter in the terrifying horror series is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell. This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.

Guatemalan singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno caught the Insidious bug and could not turn down the opportunity to collaborate on her first horror film.

“It’s always exciting for me to take on a new film project and this is the first collaboration I have with a horror film,” said Moreno. “I thought it would be really interesting to sing a classic lullaby from Latin America.”

Gaby Moreno can be heard singing her own rendition of the classic Latin American lullaby, “Arrorró Mi Niño” for the Spanish-language trailer released a few weeks back (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsFMbz_qB9A).
