Just in time for Father’s Day, the entertainment host, Felipe Viel, is launching a new column in the digital version of the magazine “Ser Padres” entitled Papaciencia. It is intended to open a stream of communication with other Latin fathers in the United States where they can share stories and exchange ideas with the intention of becoming better parents.
“The inclusion of the father in the development of children is an increasingly famous topic. A few weeks ago, the Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher called out, through social networks, all restaurants and public places in the country to incorporate baby changing stations inside men’s restrooms,” Felipe Viel shared with LatinWENews, and added, “His request got an impressive response of millions of fathers across the US who feel that they are socially underestimated when incorporating themselves more actively in the upbringing of their children.”
Felipe Viel has many stories to tell being a dad of two girls, Celeste who is 15 years old and Almendra who is 14, besides being a foster father, with the support of his wife, of 3 other children, 6 year old twins and a girl of 4. And even though he says he makes many mistakes, he always tries to do his best.
Felipe joins one of the most established magazines of the Hispanic market in the United States, “Ser Padres,” as a columnist at a very significant year, as they celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Felipe Viel is without a doubt one of the most charismatic and beloved entertainers in Hispanic television. As the host of Mega TV’s “Charytin y Felipe”, he was on Monday through Friday displaying his talents and versatility as a TV host. Most recently we were able to see him in Estrella TV’s “Retofamosos.”

Felipe demonstrated his strong appeal to audiences after the 2012 earthquake in Chile. In just a few hours, he organized the event “Miami helps Chile”, alongside artists like Cristián de la Fuente and Luis Fonsi, together they raised money for the foundation “Techo para mi País.” In addition, Felipe was recognized by the “Women in the Arts” organization as “The Most Influential Celebrity in the Hispanic Market” in January 2012.
Felipe discovered his talent from a young age while living in London. From there he moved to Chile where he made his acting debut in the telenovela, “Top Secret,” followed by “El Amor esta de Moda,” “Eclipse de la Luna,” and “Amandote.”
Later, Felipe began his career as a host on “La Mañana del 13,” and also had his own radio show in Chile. When he moved to Miami, he served as a correspondent for GenTV and Channel 13 in Chile, where he interviewed celebrities such as Alejandro Sanz, Al Pacino, and Samuel L. Jackson, among others. He was also General Director of the show, “Pase la Tarde,” on Caracol Radio. Additionally, he has been featured as one of People en Español’s “50 Most Beautiful.”
