Many Latinos come to the United States on a daily basis looking for a better life. Wanting a better life is what ultimately drives most of us here. The most influential Latinas in entertainment who have worked hard and strive for excellence encompasses a list of many. She has had numerous businesses from her clothing line to fragrances, to being one of the judges of American Idol, many films, albums and so many accomplishments since the beginning of her career. Currently, Lopez at age 47 still looks amazing and shines at all that she does. Lopez stars as Detective Harlee Santos in NBC‘s crime drama series Shades of Blue. Most recently, In collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, she has designed a capsule collection of shoes and jewelry. Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez launched in January 2017. In December 2017, Lopez is set to executive produce and star in Bye Bye Birdie Live!, a live television production of the stage musical of the same name. It will air on NBC

This talented actress also has superb business skills; Colombian beauty has endorsements contracts with Diet Pepsi, Cover Girl, Head and Shoulders, AT&T and others. She also has a new fragrance and a contract for 12 years with K-Mart. Vergara takes home $325k per episode on Modern Family and off camera the talent management and entertainment marketing firm she co-founded, Latin World Entertainment, is launching a Spanish-language tech news site.
One of Hollywood’s dazzling leading actresses Salma Hayek, a latina who arrived in the US in 1990 at age 23, was already a star in her homeland of Mexico. Her big break in her acting career in the US was when the director the movie “Desperado” saw her on TV and cast her. After that opportunity, she began to gain roles in many films mainstream. Just 12 years after Hayek arrived, she produced and starred in her dream project, a biopic of fellow Mexican Frida Kahlo.
